Always check if your product’s adapter is suitable for certain voltages, by checking the specifications of Philips adapter provided with your product.
Our adapters have automatic voltage selection and will show 100 to 240 volts printed on the adapter. This means the adapter is suitable for mains voltages ranging from 100 to 240 volts.
Plug
Even if two countries operate on the same voltage or your adapter is suitable for the voltage used, plugs abroad can have different shapes. Check the type of plug of the country you are visiting. For example, the rectangular US plug does not fit the round shaped European receptacle. A travel adapter will allow you only to plug your appliance into another type of outlet.
Note: Our shavers with build-in revolving pins like: PQ182 and PQ190 are only suitable for mains voltages of 220V.
The information on this page applies to the following models: MG5930/65, MG9551/65, MG7920/65.
Note: Philips OneBlade is designed to trim and shave facial and body hair. It is not intended for trimming or shaving the hair on your head (scalp). Please refer to Philips' selection of hair clippers and multi-groomers to find a product suitable for scalp hair.
Shaving with the Philips OneBlade or OneBlade Pro
Below you will find step-by-step instructions to shave using your Philips OneBlade or OneBlade Pro. Be sure to remove any combs or guards from the appliance before you begin.
Switch on the appliance.
Gently but firmly place the flat surface of the blade against your skin.
For best results, make long, smooth strokes with the appliance, against the direction of hair growth. Note that not all hairs grow in the same direction, so you may need to make strokes in a number of directions to catch all of them.
For a clean shaven look, ensure you shave your face and neck, including any hairs that grow behind your jawline (to check, try turning your head from side to side while looking in a mirror).
Clean your OneBlade under the tap with warm water after every use, and allow it to air dry.
